Camp in Norway
Hello everyone who will read this small testimony about the project “Family to Family”.
My name is Sergey, I will speak from whole our family. My wife Valeria and I have three children: our eldest daughter, Evelina (11 years old) and two boys: Daniel (9 years old) and Elisei (3 years old). Two years ago, my friend proposed our family to participate in the project “Family to Family”. His children had already participated, so it seemed to me so surprising that it is so easy to receive such a blessing and send your children abroad. Of course everything is absolutely free.
One more important thing is that we have been living in a state of martial law for five years, since we live on the territory that is not under Ukraine’s control. And we cannot allow our family to go on vacation, due to our financial situation, and many other circumstances.
It was very pleasant for us to find out that our eldest daughter was invited to a childrensanitized_by_modx& #39s camp in Norway. This camp was a very bright event in her life. The whole team who accompanied our children was very kind and sincere people. We understood it from conversations with my daughter. There was a lot of their personal testimonies that children remembered clearly, and it left the deep impression on them. We are grateful to this team for their work. Evelina also told us that the people in Norway are very kind, we asked: “What did they do?” Her answer was: “They hugged us a lot, treated us with delicious food and played together with us.” Now, Norwegians are very kind and good people for her.
I would like to thank the Norwegian team for showing a wonderful example of kindness and love to our children. This is a good example for everyone that our life sometimes represents our faith, our family and even a nation. Special thanks to friends from Norway for this. I want this project to give joy and happiness to many children.
