As many people think, the red thread should protect against the negative impact of dark forces and bring good luck. This is exactly what the stars hope for, which have infected young people around the world with their example. So why not put it on and be like Madonna? Such a small rite is not so harmless, as it might seem at first sight. We found three reasons why.
1. It brings a curse
The tradition of tie a red thread went from the Kabbalah, the mystical teaching in Judaism about so-called secret knowledge. This religion has nothing in common with Christianity. They say, Jesus is simply a man who taught morals, but no more.
When we tie a red thread we believe that it can protect and bring good luck, we put the object above the Creator. This worship of idols brings the curse.
“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments." (Ex 20:4-6)
2. This is a green signal for dark forces
When we do something with faith, it is already becoming a rite, that is, it has spiritual power. For example, in the Old Testament, the clothes of the high priest had a most important meaning. If he put on in a wrong way, he could die.
Aaronsanitized_by_modx& #39s clothing was made of the same materials as the Tabernacle itself that symbolized his involvement in it. It was a covenant with God and a demonstration of what he had dedicated himself to.
The red thread also shows your choice, but in this case, it is more a covenant with dark forces than with God. Christianity excludes that.
3. Bad example
Of course, you can say that this is just a fashion. If you do not invest in it makes no sense. However, ask yourself the question - is it really just a fashion for you?
After all, you tempt others with this thing. If you can, then why cannot they? Those who decide to tie a thread with your feed can already invest certain meaning in it.
Jesus said, “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” (Matthew 18:6)
