War actions in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions have become the hottest and most urgent problem in Ukraine. As a result, more than 580,000 children (*UNICEF data) have been affected and need social assistance. Unfortunately, such children are deprived of happy childhood and the opportunity to experience cheerful Christmas atmosphere for 5 years already.
That is why charitable organization Global Christian Support plans to hold a Christmas tour for 500 children, who continue living in fear and under constant shootings. This Christmas tour will be held in 6 frontline cities on the Eastern Ukraine. In each city, GCS team plans to gather 70 children together with their parents who do not attend church, and thus to tell the good news of Jesus Christ birth.
A team of volunteers will prepare a special Christmas program for children. The program includes a performance about the birth of Jesus, a lot of singing and other. The purpose of the tour is to give children a holiday of hope, to let them feel happiness of childhood.
At the end of the program, Global Christian Support plans to give every child a Christmas present, to talk with their parents and invite them to a Sunday service in local churches.
